As the first department in the University of Oxford to receive an Athena Swan Gold award, we have ambitious plans which is why we are recruiting for this new role of EDI and Culture Coordinator. Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development, the EDI and Culture Coordinator will play a crucial part in the development and implementation of initiatives that promote equality, diversity, and a positive organisational culture.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, creative and committed individual who welcomes the opportunity to engage in a range of activities, contribute effectively to a wider team, and who is able to respond positively to new challenges. Responsibilities will include project management for all the department’s Athena Swan work including monitoring and implementing our gold action plan, and undertaking detailed analysis of staff, student, and survey data. The EDI and Culture Coordinator will play a key role in supporting training and development opportunities in the department, especially for the Leadership Learning Pathway as well as driving wellbeing initiatives.

You will be based in Radcliffe Primary Care, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work but there will be the opportunity for hybrid working, to be agreed with your line manager.

The role is fixed-term until 31 May 2026 in the first instance with the possibility of extension.
