**Transactional Banking role details include**:

- Prepare domestic and non-domestic outward payments accurately in a range of currencies
- Metadate client payment instructions to keep an accurate record of their transactions
- Issue GBP and EUR cheques
- Monitor outstanding payment instructions that are awaiting further information
- Monitor rejected/stalled STP payments and deal with them appropriately
- Undertake outward payment-related investigations, ensuring they are dealt with promptly to a satisfactory conclusion
- Retrieve historic paperwork from storage relating to payment investigations
- Monitor, investigate and clear outward reconciliation items
- Assist with special projects as and when required
- Debit entries, credit entries, renewals, term changes, rate changes along with client modifications
- Processing of GBP and currency deposits
- Generating and dispatching client correspondence i.e. statements; advice notes; min balance letters etc

**Non-Transactional Banking role details include**:

- Input new accounts in to the main system
- Open additional / Secondary accounts
- Static data amendments
- Internet checks and searches on individuals
- Scanning and the filing of daily work for offsite storage
- Sort/distribute files for the Audit Report
- Assist with special projects as and when required

Development opportunities are available in either role

**Qualifications**

Will complete relevant Banking Qualification within fixed term contract of employment

**Technical Skills and Experience**

Ability to deal with administrative duties in connection with account opening and static data amendments accurately and efficiently, paying particular attention to fine detail and in line with service standards set.
