**Reservations Supervisor**

**We have a fantastic new vacancy for Reservations Supervisor in the excellent Clayton Hotel Birmingham**

**Our Beautifully designed hotels comprises of 218 bedrooms, 11 meeting rooms and our very own A La carte restaurant The Grill.**

**Objective of the Role**

Reporting directly to the Reservations Manager and working closely with the Sales, Meetings & Events and Front Desk teams at the hotel to ensure the maximization of all bedrooms and hotel sales opportunities.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Support the day to day operations in the reservation’s office.
- Continue to manage Guests reservations, ensuring that their needs and wants are met to the highest standard.
- Upsell other areas of the hotel or other properties in the group
- Ensure expectations are set correctly, in advance of the guest’s stay.
- To support in constantly updating the hotels revenue system.
- To assist in the maximisation of room revenue, occupancy percentage and yield management.
- Working closely with the Reservation and Revenue manager to ensure the efficient running of the department as well as the commercial team
- To ensure our guests requests are honoured.
- Previous experience as a Reservationis or Supervisor in a busy hotel.
- Excellent communication and customer skills.
- Great team leader and can lead and motivate the reservations staff.
- Can prioritise and delegate what needs to be done in the absence of the manager.
- You will be a real hospitality professional who wants to work their way up.
