**About the Role**

As the Retail Process Lead, you will collaborate closely with our Trading, Store Format, Customer Services, Data, Procurement and Retail Field Teams to create and implement processes that maximize the potential of our retail spaces, contributing to the overall success of our Pet Care Centres.

This is a fixed term contract opportunity and we can offer hybrid working from our Support Office in Handforth (Cheshire). The role will also require some national travel.

Key responsibilities will include:

- ** Database Management**: Creating and maintaining a comprehensive database for essential retail data, ensuring accuracy and one version of the truth
- ** Collaboration**: Working closely with various departments to keep direct contact feeds updated and refreshed regularly
- ** Communication Platform**: Leading and engaging field teams, delivering key messages in a unified tone. Managing and evolving the field communication platform for effective cascade to the store estate
- ** Day-to-Day Management**: Overseeing daily activities of the field team, resolving local issues and facilitating two-way communication between Stores and Support Office
- ** Critical Path**: Building and maintaining critical paths for key events, such as Christmas planning, streamlining processes and reducing workload for all teams
- ** Store Opening & Closure**: Owning the end-to-end process for store openings and closures, ensuring milestones are met at the appropriate time. Evolving the process for efficiency

**About You**
- ** Retail Experience**: Previous experience in a retail environment is beneficial
- ** Agility**: Ability to thrive in an agile and fast-paced environment, adapting to the changing needs of a growing and dynamic business
- ** Team Player**:Exhibit positivity and enthusiasm as a team player in an ever-changing landscape
- ** Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- ** Technical Proficiency**: Proficient in Powerpoint, Microsoft Visio, InDesign, Word and Excel
- ** Strategic Thinker**: Significant knowledge of effective communications and engagement strategies across various channels
- ** Cultural Awareness**:Culturally aware, with an understanding of complex organisations and an appreciation for business, operational and customer issues
- ** Problem Solver**:Able to identify communication issues and solve problems using sound judgment and analysis, providing practical and proactive communications guidance and support
- ** Management Skills**:Good understanding of business management and the ability to coordinate multiple teams
