The Company are the manufacturers of high-quality washing equipment and conveyors for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other hygiene conscious industries.

**Role Overview**:
Reporting directly to the Supervisor, your role will be to learn how to operate a variety of brake press machines including Amada and Edwards Pearson. Other duties involved within this role are outlined below:
**Main duties will include**:

- Learn how to adjust and load tools as required to perform correct folds and bends to produce a variety of aluminium and stainless-steel components.
- Learn how to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Maintain and ensure equipment is safe, clean and in good working order.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy, adhering to Health and Safety procedures and policies at all times.
- Assist with any other task as required in line with business needs and as required within your skill set and experience.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Previous experience or working on a shop floor environment would be an advantage although full training will be given.
- Some experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Must be flexible to meeting the production demands of the business.
- Able to meet reasonable time scales for the work required.
- Be able to work on your own or within a team.
- Possess a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Pay attention to detail and quality.
- Possess the ability to multi-task.

**What we offer in return**:

- Rate of pay for this role will be in line with National Minimum / Living Wage requirements.
- Full time, permanent contract.
- 28 days holiday (inclusive of annual, bank/public days) increasing with service.
- Access to a contributory company pension scheme, employer contribution of 3%.
- A varied and interesting role within a fast-paced manufacturing supplier within the U.K.
