**Workshop Supervisor | Burntwood | Full Time | Circa £35,000**

Our client is a specialist industrial services provider offering a wide range of geared motors and drive products to a broad spectrum of industries. Their products keep many processes in motion and they are all around in people’s daily lives. Used for luggagehandling at airports to food processing, water treatment plants and hospitals.

Our client is currently expanding the product range and launching a new project with increased engineering input. The vacant position entails assembling industrial gearboxes from component parts maintaining a high level of quality and craftsmanship.

**What will your role as a Workshop Supervisor look like?**
- To organise and control all production within the factory workshop to achieve all output targets in terms of quantity, quality and customer service requirements
- Direct and control all factory staff to ensure that they are properly motivated, trainees and developed, and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards and in accordance with health and safety standards
- Schedule and coordinate all aspects of productions operation, to ensure that output and quality & delivery targets are achieved and that all relevant H & S are observed
- Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that the workshop and equipment are effectively maintained to ensure maximum production efficiency
- Develop and implement short & long-term plans to ensure that the workshop has the necessary resources to meet business objectives
- Develop effective working relationships with all employees to ensure the maintenance of harmonious employee relations within workshops
- Monitor and control the factory budget to ensure that all financial and business objectives
- Perform any other related duties as Management may require from time to time
