**Education & professional Qualifications**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Full UK GMC registration
- MRCP UK or equivalent
- A primary medical qualification as recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC).

**Desirable criteria**:

- Additional qualifications e.g. BSc, MSc or equivalent, extracurricular achievements e.g. prizes or Distinctions

**Experience, Skills and aptitudes**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Evidence of appropriate general and acute medical experience +/- speciality
- Clinical and procedural skills consistent with those expected at end of ST/CT2 or ST3+
- Good communication skills including a good command of written and spoken English
- Experience of working in Same Day Emergency Care / Ambulatory Care

**Desirable criteria**:

- Training and education of undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Experience of and involvement in clinical governance and audit procedures.
