**About the role**

We’re excited to share details of a new vacancy for an **HR Support Apprentice**. This is a fabulous opportunity for anyone interested in a career in HR to be supported into the profession by a fun, friendly and experienced team. While also receiving structured support and learning from an approved apprenticeship provider to complete a Level 3 qualification.

You’ll start this 18-month apprenticeship by receiving a fulsome development and training plan to introduce you to our company culture, the work of the HR team and set you up for success in your role. Working closely with our team, you’ll build up your skills and gain valuable on-the-job experience. You’ll also attend weekly workshops in term-time to assist your learning and help you complete your course assignments. This will either be onsite at a local college or by attending online sessions.

Day-to-day you’ll support our team to provide an exceptional quality HR and recruitment service. Key duties include:

- **supporting our new starter process** including requesting references, preparing contracts, and adding new team members to our HR system
- **completing a range of administrative tasks** including monitoring inboxes, data entry, uploading documents, HR system maintenance, preparing letters and regular reports
- **supporting our employee benefits offer** by preparing monthly reports and updating records
- **helping to organise one-off events and projects** such as supporting careers fairs, assessment centres and work experience placements

**About you**

**If you’ve a warm and friendly nature with a positive attitude, and you enjoy working in a team environment, then we’d love to hear from you You’ll also have great organisation skills while taking pride in producing good quality work. And ideally you’ll have gained at least five GSCEs including English and Maths (or an equivalent qualification) to grade 4 or above; with some experience of using IT packages such as Microsoft Office either while studying or in the workplace.

Please note the role based at our head office in Somercotes, Derbyshire to which public transport is limited.
