The Role

We are looking for a People Partner to join our dynamic People team. The People Partner will provide first line operational support and business partnering to stakeholders on all People activities. Enable the delivery of the People strategy by providing effective and professional People guidance covering employee relations, organisational design and development, employee engagement, performance management, payroll/benefits and strategic projects.

The Team

The role will report directly to the Director, People UK and be part of our wider UK People team which also includes Talent and People Operations.

What will you be doing?- As a People Partner a large proportion of your role will be providing proactive support, coaching, advising and guiding on all things people related.- Working with line managers dealing with day to day people management, including but not limited to career progression and performance management.- Manage the full employment lifecycle, being a point of contact for people-related queries.- Build strong and trusting relationships with key internal stakeholders.- Collaborate with the Global People team to roll out coordinated initiatives, working closely with European People teams.- Take the lead and manage ER cases, providing advice and coaching to managers, ensuring legislation/process is followed, liaising with legal advisors when needed.- Take ownership of specific projects or initiatives as directed by the Director, People UK.- Working with the Director, People UK and business leaders to deliver people strategies to achieve their business objectives.- Assist with advising the management population within your business areas (and beyond, if necessary) to support delivering People and Business Programmes.- Provide management and coaching to the People & Talent Advisors and Coordinators.- Build strong relationships with the other People Partners to create a network and sharing of best practice.- Lead and drive employee engagement initiatives to ensure employee experience is positive.- Review and interpret People Data.

Who you are:
- Previous experience in a People Advisor role or similar.- Sound knowledge of employment law.- Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.- An enthusiastic and can-do attitude.- Strong ability to build trusted relationships through a professional but personable approach.- Previous experience managing ER cases.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to self-manage according to team objectives.- Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment.- Proven ability to prioritise and multitask.- A natural ability to problem solve.- An eagerness to get involved and learn.- Experience in delivering and managing projects.- Proactive and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve our People service.- Resilient and comfortable with ambiguity.- Plenty of drive, energy and passion.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
