Idam Technical Architect

As a result of new business wins, we are looking for an Identity and Access Management (IdAM) Technical Architect to join us at Sopra Steria? You will be working as part of an established team working closely with customers, external subcontractors, projectmanagers and technical teams.

This role can be based from Manchester, London or Hemel Hempstead

**What you will be doing**:
The Senior Technical Architect (IdAM) will lead small - medium scale, complex, medium risk assignment or pre-sales assignments that would lead to downstream revenue opportunities.
- Defines scope and deliverables for assignment with 'client’ (may be internal or external) for the design of systems architectures to integrate business and IT requirements
- Assist in the provision of IdAM Solutions across Aerospace, Defence and Security.
- Generate conceptual, logical, and physical architecture documents for a project/program.
- Contribute to estimation and risk assessments.
- Contribute to short timeframe change impact assessments, feasibility studies & costed IT proposals and be comfortable with producing architecture models and designs.
- Provide technical design assurance for new projects, operational change, and enhancements.
- Contribute to the implementation of the solution for the Programme / Project.
- Identifying and resolving impacts of changes to the technical architecture.
- Be a point of reference and authority for Technical Architecture on a programme/project.
- Assist in establishment of the Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology.
- Report to Solution Architects within the Architect practise & Programme / Projects.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Skilled or familiar with Identity & Access Management solutions, preferably OneIdentity, Net IQ, and/or AWS IAM/Microsoft Entra
- Skilled or familiar with Authentication solutions such as OAuth
- Skilled or familiar with security requirements for and implications on Identity Manager solutions
Programming skills
- Experience of one or more of the following: Active Directory, SQL Server
- Proven experience as a Solution/Technical Architect

- Exposure to business critical, high availability design and deployment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to write clear documentation.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to all stakeholders.
- Ability to deliver high quality output.
- SC clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance
- Self-motivated; can do attitude; able to work with mínimal supervision
- Experience of cloud technologies

**Employment Type - Full Time, Permanent
**Location - Hemel Hempstead, Manchester or London with hybrid working options.**
**Security Clearance Level - eligible for SC**

**Salary - £70-£75k**
