Our client are a leading Solar PV company based in Hemel Hempstead, specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic systems. With a commitment to sustainability and renewable energy, they are dedicated to providing innovative solar solutions to their clients across various sectors.
They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Design Manager to lead their design team in creating efficient and effective solar PV systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, development, and implementation of solar projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards. Lead and manage the design team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed
Oversee the design process for solar PV projects, from initial concept to final implementation
Collaborate with sales, engineering, and installation teams to develop comprehensive project proposals and designs
Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather relevant data for design purposes
Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to address design requirements and concerns
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and innovations in solar PV technology
Proven experience in solar PV design, with a strong understanding of photovoltaic systems and components
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, PV Sol, and Helioscope
Previous experience in project management or coordination would be advantageous
