Tradewind is working in close partnership with this large Academy as they look for an experienced Maths Teacher to lead their department for the new academic year. From September 2023 they are looking to appoint a Head of Maths to take the Maths departmentto new heights

Located in the North of Watford, Hertfordshire this well-established school continues to impress as they continue through a period of change and improvement. In 2019 the schools joined a Multi Academy Trust including another 9 schools (6 Secondary) there isa clear blueprint for the schools development plan to continue it's journey. Previously the school was rated as RI with lower than average attainment and attendance across the key stages. Changes since 2019 have been strategic and delicate designed to shiftattitudes towards attendance and behaviour which is already having a huge impact. There is a long, but exciting journey ahead and the appointment of a Head of Maths is key to ensuring pupils throughout the school continue their journey and achieve to the bestof their abilities.

- Head of Maths at this school sits just under the Senior Leadership Team so this is a role that carries a lot of responsibility and scope for growth. With other TLR's available the school is encouraging both 2ic Teachers, senior Teachers and those with strongmiddle leadership responsibility to apply.
