**Mortgage Underwriter Administrator responsibilities**:
Reporting in to the Head of Underwriting, you will provide support to the underwriting team, our internal mortgage desk and our broker partners, work within the underwriting team and have responsibility for the completion of administration and support tasks, in order to maximise overall new lending completions.

**The ideal Mortgage Underwriting Administrator**:
To be successful for this role, ideally you will have proven experience of working in a previous administrative role or regulatory financial services environment with a working knowledge of banking, lending and/or underwriting principles. You will need:

- A good standard of secondary education with at least C-grades in Maths and English together with higher levels of education.
- Strong awareness of the financial services and its specific sector.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential, whilst also maintaining high levels of productivity.
- Good communication at all levels with the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and have a structured and organised approach to work.
- A team player who is enthusiastic, positive, adaptable and proactive.
- A willingness to learn new tasks and build on existing knowledge.
- Outstanding Customer Service Skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
