The School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences is seeking a part time, fixed term Project Technical Assistant.

**The Opportunity**:
Based in the department of Linguistics and English Language, the Project Technical Assistant will contribute to the project “Logic in semantic universals”, funded by the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship (PI: Wataru Uegaki). The post holder will assist with a series of online behavioural experiments investigating mechanisms underlying cross-linguistic generalisations in semantics. They will be contributing to the development and day-to-day operation of the proposed research, including development of web experiments, as well as recruitment and testing of participants for experimental work.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- Bachelor’s degree in linguistics or related field.
- Demonstrable experience conducting online experiments in linguistics.
- Proven technical experience in computer programming.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, listening and verbal)
