Pharmacy - Dispensary Assistant Technical Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pharmacy team at Macclesfield District General Hospital. Ideal for a community based dispenser looking to experience hospital pharmacy or a hospital based ATO wanting a new challenge.
This post will work within the dispensary processing inpatient, outpatient and discharge medication.
Other duties will include supporting pharmacy stores in the supply of medication to the trust, managing owed items, managing and organising resuscitation boxes for the Trust and community clinics and dispensing controlled drugs to wards/departments and patients. A great opportunity to gain more experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
In addition the post would also work on various wards throughout the trust ordering medications for patients and stock as needed.
You will need to have a Level 2 Certificate in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Support Staff or equivalent.
**Hours per Week**: 37.5
Full time, Part time and Bank Hours will be considered.
To assist in the delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients at East Cheshire NHS Trust through the provision of a safe, efficient and effective dispensary and distribution service.
