Are you ready to be a part of a progressive and friendly pharmacy team? Following a comprehensive review aimed at modernising and aligning job roles with service needs, the Pharmacy Department is expanding, and we are pleased to announce a new opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join us in dispensary services. As a Senior Pharmacy Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team, contributing to the enhancement of our services and the delivery of exceptional patient care. To ensure the safe and efficient daily operational management of the pharmacy dispensary services at East Cheshire NHS Trust.
To provide operational management of pharmacy technicians and assistants within the dispensary at East Cheshire NHS Trust to ensure service provision is maintained.
To ensure that all medicines are dispensed in a safe, effective and efficient manner in line with all legal and accepted standards of practice.
Line Manager for allocated staff within the pharmacy technical team, including pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants.

Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC (General Pharmaceutical Council)
Implementation of procedures within the service.

At least 3 years post-qualification experience in hospital pharmacy.
Specialist knowledge of hospital pharmacy services.
To work within GPhC (General Pharmaceutical Council) standards.
