**Independent Living Service Senior Administrator - Grade F**

**About the role.**

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administrator within the Council’s Independent Living Service. The service provides aids and adaptations to help people to live independently at home for longer. The role will involve managing, training and coaching administrators, working as a team, streamlining procedures to improve service provision, making sure the service is compliant with General Data Protection Regulation, overseeing Freedom of Information Requests, managing and updating databases, liaison with suppliers and placing orders, preparing reports, maintaining web pages, scheduling appointments, invoicing and budget tracking and customer service.

**You must have knowledge and experience of **
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Previous administrative experience, ideally in a similar sector
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and financial procedures is an advantage.
- Experience in supervising and developing staff.
- Experience in training staff in systems and procedures.

**You must have the following qualifications.**
- GCSE at Level 4 (Grade C) or above in English and Maths
- A Levels or equivalent (desirable)
