**Workday Lead**
Frontier Economics is an economics consultancy that tackles the big questions facing governments, businesses, and society. We are actively hiring a Workday Lead to join our Development Team and manage the day-to-day activities of our new System, Workday. You will be responsible for hands on technical change and administration of Workday. You will be acting as third line supportfor Users and develop enhancements - Report writing; support for interfaces; management of the bi-annual upgrades; prioritisation and delivery of works driven by user/external led enhancements.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Smooth operation and enhancement of Workday Services.
- Operate the Workday and system support structures (including providing AMS service assistance) and help facilitate the maintenance of training and knowledge base materials (including regression testing packs).
- Systems Administration and user permissions. Proactively manage user capabilities to ensure good control environment.
- Report writing - configure & maintain the outputs for the standard HR catalogue of reports.
- Collaborate with BMT & Consulting stakeholder groups including external service providers to facilitate in the continuous design, build, testing and delivery of planned releases and system maintenance activities.
- Support internal and external audit reviews, ensuring responses and data are provided in a timely fashion.
- Analyse, configure, and optimise appropriate Workday related Business Process workflows, and conduct testing on defined schedules.
- Help plan for and provide support for the bi-annual Workday feature releases.
- Work closely with the IT team on new releases and infrastructure developments, ensuring the System functions with any macro changes. Assist in maintaining and testing of associated ERP integrations and developing the change control process.
- Liaise with Workday customer success team to understand best practice and how Frontier can strive to achieve best practice ways of working.
- Document current/future systems and processes, helping with training and wider stakeholder communication.
- Provide support on other systems as needed (workbooks, SAP B1and Sage)

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Previous experience with Workday is essential, although training will be provided to the successful applicant.
- Experience working with Workday HCM and Financials (preferable)
- Good understanding of organising and manipulating data
- Good understanding of common industry standard business practices with regards to key functional areas is essential, including:

- Finance/ HR business processes
- Core HCM including talent & advanced compensation.
- Report Writing
- Data management including static and master data management.
- Skilled practitioner in Business & Functional Analysis.
- Experience working with data and knowledge of basic data principles and processes.

How you split your time will depend on the meetings in your diary, projects you may be working on, the time of the role etc - we want you to be able to embrace theflexibility while thinking about what works best for The Company, Your clients and You. In addition, we provide 28 days annual leave with the option to purchase an additional 10.
