Malmaison & Hotel du Vin have 37 inspiring lifestyle hotels across the two exceptional brands within the UK. We’re looking for a Hygiene & Safety Compliance Officer to join us and play a vital role in the Health & Safety team. You’ll be responsible for supporting Hotel Operations to undertake audits and ensure high standards of Health & Safety at all times, as well as supporting in the development, implementation and maintenance of first-class health & safety, fire and food safety practices and processes throughout the group in our ongoing pursuit of excellence.

**What are we looking for?**
- A proven Safety & Health practitioner, preferably with chartered status i.e. CMCIEH and or CMIOSH.
- A specialist in health, safety, food and accident and complaint investigations.
- Fully conversant with safety management systems, auditing, incident investigations, risk assessments and training.
- Experience in coaching and supporting and training staff and new openings support.
- Experience of delivering training/presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to manage own workload and work under pressure.
- Highly motivated and results driven individual, passionate about achieving results.
- Self-motivated, however equally strong and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent organisational skills, time management, great eye for detail.
- Systems literate, to include Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- This role will require travel across the UK - you could be away from home 3 to 4 nights per week, so an ability and willingness to travel is required.
