This role involves managing a diverse contract portfolio, encompassing all stages of the procurement process from inception to contract award. You will analyze and report on various aspects of contract performance, maximizing cost savings and developing strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a wide range of contracts across various departments within the hospital.
- Conduct procurements, ensuring compliance with NHS Scotland policies and procedures.
- Analyze contract data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and mutual benefit.
- Implement best practices to enhance service delivery and ensure contractual obligations are met.
Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Purchasing and Supplies, Diploma, or demonstrable relevant experience.
- Proven track record in procurement within a large organization.
- Experience influencing and negotiating effectively both internally and externally.
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
