Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a wide range of contracts across various departments within the hospital.
  • Conduct procurements, ensuring compliance with NHS Scotland policies and procedures.
  • Analyze contract data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and mutual benefit.
  • Implement best practices to enhance service delivery and ensure contractual obligations are met.

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Purchasing and Supplies, Diploma, or demonstrable relevant experience.
  • Proven track record in procurement within a large organization.
  • Experience influencing and negotiating effectively both internally and externally.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
