Quality Improvement Co-ordinator | Mount Stuart & Exeter Medical Hospitals | Full Time 37.5 Hours

We are currently seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support the Head of Clinical Services in the delivery of Quality and Clinical Governance initiatives at Mount Stuart hospital and Exeter medical.

The Successful applicant will support all aspects of clinical governance and Quality such as monitoring incidents and serious incidents, conduct and facilitate investigations and producing root cause reports. They will also be expected to work with the Head of Clinical services and clinical teams to ensure the quality improvement processes are monitored, audited and actioned, and assist in ad hoc local initiatives.

What you’ll bring with you- Professional Registration NMC/HCPC - Dip HE / Degree / RGN- Ability to lead Continuous Improvement processes in a Health Care facility and achieve sound outcomes- Sound knowledge of the relevant legislative requirements and governing body reporting responsibilities of hospital/ clinical services departments- Knowledge and understanding of contemporary clinical risk management strategies that are effective in promoting and ensuring high quality patient care- Experience in analysing clinical information and creating written reports for various committees and other stakeholders- Proven ability to successfully motivate a clinical services team providing positive leadership- Sound computer skills using the MS Office Suite and Web based reporting systems- Demonstrable communication skills of a high level including written and verbal communication, ability to listen and summarise and presentation skills
