**Role Title: Physician Associate**

Medical Staffing is delighted to offer a great opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Physician Associate who wishes to develop their career within an exceptional primary care environment.

**A bit about the role**:

- Provide first point of contact care for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems by utilizing history taking, physical examination and clinical decision making skills to establish a working diagnosis and management plan with the patient.
- Support management of patient's conditions through specialized clinics including but not limited to - Family planning, baby checks, COPD, Asthma, diabetes and anticoagulation.
- Provide health and disease promotion and prevention advice alongside analyzing and actioning diagnostic test results.
- Participate in duty rotas, undertaking face to face, telephone and online consultations for emergency or routine problems as determined by the PCN, including management of patients with LTC.
- Undertake home visits when required.
- Utilize clinical guidelines and promote evidence based practice and partake in clinical audits, significant event reviews and other research and analysis.

Physician Associate requirements and qualifications:

- Must have either PG diploma or MSC
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have experience in a Primary care setting
- Has passed UK physician associate national re-certification exam
- Ideally a prescriber
- Participates in continuing professional development - CPD
- Able to work efficiently, while adapting to different environments

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Pay: £25.00-£40.00 per hour
