**Role**:Property Management Co-Ordinator
**Salary**:£19,000 - £21,000 depending on experience
**Location**: Sheffield
**Hours**:Monday to Friday 9.00 - 5.00 pm. You will also be required to work some Saturdays 10am - 2pm, on a limited basis.
Our client is an award winning independent letting agent, with over 450 student and residential properties on our books. Due to their continuing company growth, they have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join their dynamic team based at their office in Sheffield.
**Duties to include**:
- Assisting the Property Managers with all areas of the property management process including, booking repairs, dealing with refurbishment projects, handling the renewal of property certification, updating spreadsheets, speaking to contractors and tenants on a daily basis.
- Preparing keys for contractors and booking them back into the system upon return.
- Helping the property managers to ensure all legal and safety certification requirements are completed and maintained.
- Liaising with utility companies regarding changeover of tenants
- Liaising with parties regarding deposit returns and queries
- Carrying out property inspections/property management visits and reporting the findings to the property managers
- Helping to organise the tenant check in/check out procedure and deal with any issues particularly during the busy changeover period.
- Arranging quotations and processing invoices onto the software system
- Assisting the property managers with the response to out of hours emergency maintenance
- Viewings of properties with potential tenants
- As part of a small team, you will undoubtedly get involved in other areas of the business as required. Particularly assisting with viewings and showing potential tenants around properties during the busy letting season.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Highly organised
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional yet empathetic manner is essential.
- Hard-working, confident with good computer skills and an eye for detail.
- Efficient in managing and prioritising your workload and able to demonstrate your ability to quickly adapt to this demanding role.
- Full driving license and a car to perform regular property visits.
- Minimum of 1 year’s office experience.
