Hays Social Care are looking for an night time children's support worker in Bangor.
**Your new company**
Hays Social Care are working with an organisation in Holywood for adults and young people with learning difficulties.
**Your new role**
You will be engaging directly with the children, maintaining a safe and supportive environment for the young people. You will deliver person centred care for the residents and play a role in the assessment of the residents, liaising between staff and families,and organising activities for the children. You will use knowledge of the care of the children with a physical/learning disability and challenging behaviour to provide a quality service within the organisation. You will be integral in keeping the residentssafe, emotionally and physically, and make sure that the environment is always well kept and danger free.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will have a QCF L3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent and be registered or agree to register with NISCC. You will need to demonstrate at least six months experience working with adults or children with learning disabilities or complex needs and becomfortable providing personal care. You will be an excellent team player with great communication skills. This role will be based off a rota, so you will need to eb flexible and be open to work nights and weekends. A degree level qualification in Health orSocial work or equivalent is also desirable.
**What you'll get in return**:
