**Business Support Administrator**

Children and Families provides a range of highly specialist services to vulnerable children and young people. Services are delivered directly to children and their families within extensive statutory frameworks and staff working in these areas need specialist knowledge in order to deliver effective services to these high risk and high need groups. Our Admin Team support front line Social Care staff.

We are looking for an Administrator to work within our newly developed Transition’s Team (14-18 years). As a key member of our busy team, you will be liaising with families, members of the public and professionals.

**About the role**

In this role, you will organise multiagency meetings on behalf of the team, liaise with professionals both within Social Care and with other agencies, manage information, update and maintain spreadsheets and databases, minute taking and subsequently distribute to involved parties ensuring that timescales are met.

You will be highly organised, willing to take responsibility, use initiative and be comfortable in setting your own priorities and meeting deadlines. You will make sure that everything is in place to guarantee that all runs smoothly for the processes and colleagues that you support. You will be expected to work 35 hours per week, on a hybrid working basis. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential along with a high level of written and oral communication.

Previous experience of working with highly confidential information in a customer focused environment and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential. We are looking for someone who has a can do attitude, excellent IT skills and an eye for detail.

This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
