An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Co-ordinator to join our B&Q 2-person Home Delivery Contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast paced and dynamic team. The role will be based at our Branston Site in Burton-Upon-Trent.

**The Role**:

- Working within the People team, you will report to the People Manager.
- Responsible for the end to end payroll process, including monitoring new starters, leavers and changes.
- Data entry of payroll data ensuring accurate administration.
- Responsibility for Time & Attendance validation via Kronos and obtaining sign off for payroll.
- Responsible for ensuring payroll data accurately reflects absence, sickness absence, maternity leave, paternity leave, etc.
- Resolving all payroll queries from employees.
- Compliance with payroll timetables and policies.
- Responsible for completing absence reporting and analysis on a weekly basis
- Liaising with our central people services team on pay queries and processing payments
- Ad hoc project work as required.
- General associated admin duties and support for other positions within the People Team.

**The Person**:

- Must have previous payroll experience gained within a finance, payroll or HR role
- Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience of Kronos and / or Oracle desired but not essential
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Have an eye for detail and be proactive, with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a wider team.
- Ability to learn several systems quickly and thoroughly.
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to develop effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
