**Hours**: 40hrs per week, Monday - Friday

**The Role**: As the Production Manager, you will oversee the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations. You will be involved in the pre-production (planning) stage, as well as the production (control and supervision)stage. A large part of the job is dealing with people, quality and resource management.
**Key Duties**:
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers, reviewing worker performance and identify training needs.
- Manage production planning by ensuring customer orders are completed on time, to budget and that quality standards and targets are met. Monitor productivity rates and have an understanding of maintaining and improving efficiencies.
- Ensure that the production process is cost effective, by reducing waste and re-work.
- Must have a consistent approach in every aspect of the role, from daily tasks through to communication.
- Manage and order the resources that are required. The understanding of stock control is paramount.
- Manage and implement the Non-Conformance procedure in production, in accordance with our quality management system as part of our ISO 9001 accreditation.
- Have excellent communication skills. Liaising consistently and effectively with different departments, directors, suppliers and customers, is an integral part of the role. Must be able to work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
- Collate and analyse data, putting together production reports for directors and employees.
- Organise the maintenance of equipment and keep a proper record of this and organise the repair of any damaged equipment.
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
When conducting your responsibilities, you will have a logical, problem-solving attitude with an ability to analyse data. Excellent communication is key, not only to effectively manage the team, but to have a consistent approach to daily communication upwardsto directors. Experience with implementing ISO accreditation's 9001 and 14001 is preferred, as an integral part of the role involves working according to our quality management system.
