**Pay rate**:£18.19+ Per hour

We have an excellent opportunity to work with Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, they work with children from 0-16, as well as some cases of up to 18’s. The trust provides a full range of services for residents across Sheffield and South Yorkshire, as well as providing specialised services for patients across the United Kingdom.

Working within the Community CAMHS team, you will be supporting children with a range of mental health conditions, seeing them in a variety of settings including in the community, at their homes, school, respite and in clinic.
- To be able to provide evidence-based interventions and co-ordinate care plans for children with mild to severe mental health problems.
- Have a professional qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy and have a current registration with the appropriate registration body (Nursing and Midwifery Council, Social Work England or Health and Care Professions Council).
- Have the suitable experience in a mental health setting or have at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience within the mental health field.

**Role responsibilities**:

- The role will consist of providing case management, clinical assessment and interventions to children, young people, and their families with complex mental health needs.
- To work within and promote collaborative and partnership working, with both colleagues and the client group.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for children, young people, and their families.
- Provide clinical advice and consultation to both CAMHS and multi-agency colleagues.
- Contribute to the care process with colleagues, formulating treatment plans to meet the needs of the children, young people, and families.
- To ensure that all aspects of legal frameworks, governing children, and young people, such as the Mental Health or Children’s Acts are adhered to at all times

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a mental health setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and ability to administer medications as prescribed
- Familiarity with gender issues counseling and sensitivity to diverse populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
