Customer Service/office Administrator

**FULL TIME OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR**
Hertford based Family owned Locksmith/Security Company within walking distance of Hertford East
Railway Station is looking to recruit a Full Time Office Administrator
This position will have responsibility of the office administration, providing support to Customers, engineers and management and ensuring that essential tasks are carried out in a timely fashion.
Liaising to provide a smooth operation of all functions.
**The Role**
- Typing/sending correspondence, quotes and proformas
- Package up parts and arrange post and complete all correspondence relating to parcel i.e royal mail, APS and shared drive spreadsheets
- Logging New Customers and jobs on eworks (training given)
- Booking jobs/appointments and allocating engineers
- Investigating accounts queries
- Invoicing - Chasing sub contractors for paperwork to close down jobs
- Updating client portals with updates, ETA, submitting invoices and costs
- Fulfilling key orders and arranging post
- Maintaining the filing system
- Taking payments via credit card machine/portal
- Obtaining authorisation/PO’s for goods received/ordered
- Updating files/spreadsheets on the shared drive
**Skills**:
- Clear, confident telephone manner
- Accuracy with data entry/typing
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Hours
- Monday to Thursday 8.00 - 5.00 - 8.00-4.30 Friday
**Salary **Negotiable according to Age and Experience
