**ROLE DESCRIPTION: TELEPHONE RECEPTIONIST**

**Our Telephone Receptionists are responsible for answering calls, directing them to our conveyancing teams or dealing with queries appropriately to provide a courteous and efficient service to our clients. They are often the first point of contact to our clients and therefore set the tone for communication and quality of service.**

**Their duties include**:

- receiving and directing calls;
- identifying the nature of calls;
- operating a switchboard;
- relaying messages;
- providing basic information on files to clients;
- providing ad-hoc administrative support;
- greeting clients who are visiting the office;
- using a case management system;
- maintaining confidentiality; and
- attending and engaging with support, advice and training.

**Person Specification for Receptionist role**:

- experience of dealing with the public preferable;
- confident and professional telephone manner;
- strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- be friendly, confident, professional and polite;
- excellent organisational skills;
- high level of attention to detail;
- experience of using particularly Microsoft Office;
- ability to use a case Management system effectively;
- highly motivated and keen to learn;
- proactive and resourceful in their approach to tasks;
- ability to take instructions; and
- ability to work as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £18,964.40 per year
