**About The Role**

Lead with purpose Join our dynamic Estate Services Team as a Housing Caretaking Team Leader and drive through effective service delivery with customers at the forefront.

Managing a Team of cross borough staff who provide not just a Caretaking Service but one that Leads with Heart and strives to achieve excellence as standard.

**About The Team You’ll Be Working In**

You will be working within a Team of 8 who manage Caretakers and cleaners delivering a service to Local Authority housing estates and Sheltered Housing units across the London Borough of Hounslow and report to the Estate Services Manager. Working closely with the Estate Improvement Team, you will help to drive through Estate improvements, making our Estates, cleaner, greener, and safer places to live and through these actions enabling our residents to live healthier, happier lives.

You will have your own team of both mobile and patch-based Caretakers which you who you will lead to provide this service, mentoring and supporting them to excel in what they do.

**About You**

We are looking for an individual who is:

- Person centred, flexible, approachable and a problem solver, with the ability to adapt their language and approach for a range of different audiences.
- Has experience of leading a dispersed workforce, building, and maintaining relationships with individuals and other Teams.
- Organised and able to organise others, scheduling work and monitoring outcomes.
- Has knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace, able to carry out dynamic and Team risk assessments.
- Comfortable using different types of IT programme’s such as word and excel, with an appetite to learn new systems.
- Knowledge of cleaning in public areas, chemicals, and equipment.
- A leader who can inspire and support their Team, can make operational decisions, and encourage staff development.
- Willing to try new ways of doing things to improve the resident experience.
- Resilient, flexible, fair, emotionally intelligent and a team player
