Atlas Contract Furniture currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Project Manager (Project Support) based in our office in Christchurch, Dorset.

The role on offer is multi-faceted and goes beyond a typical Project Manager role; the successful applicant must have sales flair, be confident in liaising with a variety of stakeholders including clients, designers and architects and be able to estimate projects for efficient manufacturing practices.

Under the guidance of Sales & Project Managers, the Project Support will take ownership and be accountable to the tasks set in order that the client project is completed successfully and to deadline. To support the Sales / Project Manager in achieving long-term success and repetitive business by handling customers’ needs in line with Company processes and procedures.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Support when required with processing enquiries from clients, including setting up client/enquiry files, chasing for required details with concise verbal and written communication with clients.
- Product & supplier sourcing; including acquiring critical material pricing and placing reserves, checking stocks & lead times and sample requesting.
- On instruction of the Sales / Project Manager, to follow up with clients on previously quoted works and ongoing projects, in timely manner.
- Support when required with effective project management, to ensure the product is produced to client requirements
- Communicate with other departments to ensure deadlines are met, in line with quality expectations, feeding back issues to the Sales / Project Manager.
- To be resourceful, proactive and intuitive in overcoming problems and coming up with solutions.
- Take ownership of the tasks set by the Sales / Project Manager.
- Ensure consistency and high levels of quality are maintained.
- Efficient and effective time management - to organise your workload and be able to manage multiple projects consecutively, immediately highlighting to the Sales / Project Manager where there are likely to be delays.

**Responsibilities to Develop into.**
- To work with the Sales / Project Manager on client projects, providing technical solutions, advising of changes to projects and cost implications, to enable a fast response to client needs, to enable the speedy processing of the enquiry through to completion.
- Support with producing CAD layout / Sales drawings when required, to work towards solutions for clients’ needs, and demonstrate what we will be pricing for.
