**About the Role**

The Digital Fundraising Officer is a central role within the fundraising team, contributing to the successful delivery of an ambitious fundraising strategy. The role holder will play a key role in maximising SAMH’s use of online platforms to raise funds and awareness of SAMH. You will seek new opportunities to attract, engage and retain supporters through the creation and execution of a new digital fundraising strategy.

**What we are looking for**

If you have significant digital fundraising experience and are excited to take on and develop a role which is new to SAMH, this post would suit you.

A self-starter, you will have experience in the creation and execution of digital fundraising strategies in order to achieve fundraising targets and voluntary income growth. You will be driven, highly motivated, and have a proven track record of managing digital fundraising campaigns and the use of social media in a charity context.

You will be a vibrant, enthusiastic individual who will help foster creativity and innovation. You will monitor digital fundraising trends and explore new and emerging technologies in order to optimise SAMH’s current activity, or to trial new digital fundraising tactics currently not being utilised.

Experience in communicating with donors and the development of positive donor relationships through digital channels is critical, requiring well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
