**ACCOUNTABILITY**:To the Chief Executive
AIM OF THE JOB:
Community Action Isle of Wight is the main support body for the voluntary and community sector on the Island and the post holder will lead on work to support operational and strategic partnership working between sector organisations and NHS and other public sector partners working on the delivery of Integrated Care System aims and objectives.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES**:
- To provide pro-active leadership and facilitation around the agenda of effective operational partnership working between the voluntary sector and NHS and other partners working on the delivery of Integrated Care Systems aims and objectives.
- To support the engagement of Voluntary Sector Forum representatives on the Isle of Wight’s Integrated Care Board and its constituent parts.
- In particular to support the participation of voluntary and community sector groups in on-going ICS work focused on the adoption of Population Health Management approaches.
- To work with all partners to identify and address operational challenges to partnership working and integration between the voluntary and statutory sectors.
- To work with all partners to identify and focus upon new areas of potential partnership working across key areas of work such as the priorities of the Transforming Communities Board.
- In particular to help smaller voluntary organisations and community groups to have a conduit through which both challenges and opportunities in working as part of the ICS can be considered.
- To support the awareness and understanding of public sector commissioners and frontline staff of the activities and capacity of voluntary sector organisations, in particular the smaller self help groups across the Island.
- To promote and co-ordinate Voluntary and Community Sector engagement in local consultations, service planning and commissioning.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 36 months
Part-time hours: 30 per week
**Salary**: £22,500.00 per year
