We are working in partnership with Health Education England (HEE), South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Cumbria to deliver a regional programme to help Paramedics to Return to Practice.

We are looking to support Paramedics who have either:

- Left the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) register and wish to return
- Have not been practising in the Paramedic profession
- Have a recognised Paramedic qualification but have never registered with the HCPC

We have developed a programme of support that can be tailored to meet individual needs in order to meet the HCPC requirements for returning to the register, through facilitating supervised placement time and a bespoke Return to Practice module developed in conjunction with the University of Cumbria which will be delivered through a mix of online learning / tutorials and in-person at a centre local you across the South East.

We are able to offer both PAID and UNPAID / VOLUNTARY routes for returnees in order to support your aspirations, examples of this could be:
Paid - Returning to a role in the Ambulance Service such a frontline Paramedic or a Control Room Clinician.

Unpaid/voluntary - Flexibility to return in your own time or wish to work elsewhere in the NHS such as Primary Care or an Emergency Department.

You may also be employed by another NHS provider who are supporting you to return.
