Operating in a buoyant technology space they have recently completed a successful round of external fundraising and now have in excess of £120m of capital to deploy on a major infrastructure project.

**Overview of the Build Coordinator role**

Full ownership and accountability for the coordination of the Build team. It is your role to proactively plan works and manage the resource available, ensuring that the department meets deadlines and that the department runs efficiently. To keep procedures and policies up to date and create new ones where required, ensuring that the department is moving forward and growing as the business grows. Research and liaise with 3rd party suppliers so that the department improves and overcomes new obstacles. Giving feedback on the processes, issues and job lists is essential to the role ensuring that future workload can be planned in.

**Responsibilities of the Build Coordinator**
- Full ownership/accountability for coordinating the processes and works of the build team;
- To ensure that issues are delegated to the right people and follow through to ensure line manager and customer is kept up to date;
- Provision of administration & planning in terms of check lists, processes and standard operating procedures;
- To ensure we have the correct information for each site so that the team can be sufficiently guided through matters such as site rules, access and liaison, ensuring that there are no delays to the job or anything that can cause dissatisfaction;
- Be pro-active and keep all relevant parties up to date with progress and necessary issues;
- Full responsibility for all build documentation e.g. Ensure policies, checklists are kept up to date and that new policies are written and reviewed when appropriate. Also compile monthly checklist to ensure all routine tasks are completed;
- Ensure stock levels are in line with our requirements and we have spares;
- Ensure we follow health and safety protocols at all times;
- Ensure install/build operatives are aware of their role;
- Management of Vehicles and machinery;
- Prepare items for network build team;
- Prepare cabinets, build, test and get ready for site;
- Setup of new depots across the UK and all processes controls;
- Own all stages of the build including staff recruitment training, materials, machinery and contractors;
- To actively seek and promote ways to improve the efficiency of your job. Ensuring communication with the line manager & other team members is prompt, precise and accurate;
- To actively look for ways of improving departmental performance through better planning, smarter procedures, and having a flexible team ensuring that the department learns from past mistakes and improvements are made so they don’t reoccur;
**Skills and Experience Required of the Build Coordinator**
- Understanding of products and a basic understanding of how services fit together, and work independently
- Ensure that deadlines are met and work the extra hours to ensure this happens;
- Uses initiative when managing own time to ensure tasks are done and that you are available as the business needs you;
- Excellent communication with 3rd parties as well as our own employees;
- Owns and follows through on tasks - doesn’t just deliver messages;
- Management of Vehicles and machinery;
- Prepare items for network build team;
- Prepare cabinets, build, test and get ready for site;
- Setup of new depots across the UK and all processes controls;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
