We are recruiting for a Contract Administrator located in Winnersh to support our business at the Winnersh and Burgess Hill sites.

The Contract Administrator reports directly to the Senior Manager, Contracts and works closely with other members of the Contracts Department function, Value Stream Lifecycle, Engineering and Finance to prepare proposals, negotiate and manage contracts and manage business relationships.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Supporting Collins Aerospace’s Mission Strategic Business Unit in the UK the role supports programmes and bids within Integrated Systems, Simulation, Services and Support and Communication Navigation and Guidance portfolios within the European, Middle East and African region.
- Responsibilities reviewing incoming customer requests for proposals, undertaking initial due diligence activities, identifying proposal requirements, generating directed proposals, assisting in proposal development for more complex opportunities, providing support to the wider Contracts team by generating and maintaining inputs into company tools that support the pursuit and order capture process, generating and managing reporting activities and participating in securing required management approval for submittal of proposals to customers and execution of resulting contracts.
- Under the direct supervision/guidance of the appropriate Contracts Manager, may assist in review contractual terms and conditions for their acceptability, assessing risk and impact to the proposal to ensure compliance to company policy, EU and Government regulations and other requirements utilizing the Company resources including legal, operations, and pricing as necessary. Under direction may provide alternate terms and conditions to Customer.
- Operate in accordance with company policies and practices, and in compliance with accepted business ethics.
- In concert with Value Stream Lifecycle (VSL) management and/or other members of the Contracts Team participate in contract negotiation, execution and day to day management of contracts within Europe and the Middle East both face to face and remotely.
- Provide contract status reports and assistance to the VSL, functional areas, and management.
- Take proper action to close out the contract in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations at the conclusion of all contract activity.
- Ensure the timely communication of contract information to appropriate persons and maintains complete and accurate contract files.
- Act as principal interface with internal/external customers on contractual matters for assigned bids and contracts. Take necessary action or coordinates action to resolve any contractual problems on a timely basis.
- Under supervision of the Senior Manager, Contracts prepare standard Rockwell Collins legal documents including Non-Disclosure Agreements and manage process through to execution. As directed by and under the supervision of the Senior Contracts Manager undertake drafting of non-standard legal documents and review of third party Non-Disclosure Agreements and other non-standard agreements and co-ordinate review of the output with other Contracts staff and manage process through to execution.
- Provide support to other Contract Team members for processing of quotes and proposals, orders and order execution

**Basic Qualifications**:

- BA/BSc/LLB and an acceptable level of experience in an appropriate discipline or, in the absence of a BSc/BA, can demonstrate a similar level of competence, skills
