Reporting to the Extrusion Setter we are looking for Coilers that will share our passion and desire for the manufacture and supply of quality products to the global marine industry.
Role responsibilities:
- coil, cut and pack profiles in accordance with the job sheet;
- monitor quality of product and advise machine setters of any issues;
- correctly label products and package/stack in accordance with the job sheet;
- complete forms and quality sheets per production run;
- assist in moving product within the factory and keeping a tidy work area;
- working closely with other members of the team to assure co-operative and friendly atmosphere with regard to the daily activities of production.
Skills/experience:
- background in a similar role would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided;
- a desire to work in a focused environment towards deadlines;
- ability to adapt to varied tasks;
- good communication skills;
- physically fit as the manual handling of raw and finished product will be required.
Hours:
Early Shift - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:15 to 15:45 with a 30 minute unpaid break
Late Shift - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 12:15 to 20:45 with a 30 minute unpaid break. Late shift also attracts a night rate payment of £29 per night (as applicable)
Benefits: 20 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays) with incremental increases after 2 years’ service to a maximum of 25 days after 5 years.
Company sick pay of 5 paid sick days per calendar year accruing to a maximum of 20 days per calendar year if untaken
Contributory Pension Scheme (5% Employee/3% Employer)
Discretionary annual bonus scheme
