About the role

Our client is looking for a Neighbourhood Specialist - (1 post) to join their Neighbourhoods team. This role is home based role, where there is no daily requirement to attend an office with the flexibility to attend as required.

Reporting to the Neighbourhood Delivery Manager, you will deliver face to face customer services in their neighbourhoods work collaboratively with other teams to deliver their neighbourhood plan objectives and ensure their landlord requirements are met.

You will let their homes to minimise rent loss and contribute to tenancy and neighbourhood sustainability. You will respond to customer enquiries and be the visible presence of the organisation within their neighbourhoods. Whilst listening to customer viewsand encouraging resident involvement, you will be making recommendations for how the organisation can respond.

You will develop effective local partnerships with other front facing service providers, operating in their neighbourhoods; deliver neighbourhood management actions within their suite of compliance plans and manage service charges. This will include preparingbudgets and identifying renewals whilst consulting and informing residents.

What are they looking for?

To be successful, it is essential you have knowledge and awareness of related housing regulations / law. The role would suit people who have previously worked in similar roles such as Housing Officer. You will also have significant experience of developingpartnership working with support agencies, local authorities and community groups.
