**About the Role**:
Little St Johns Surgery has an opportunity for 2 administrators to join our busy practice support team, on a part-time basis for 18.5 hours per week. The hours will be spread over 3 days, which will include a session on Tuesday 1-7pm. There is then flexibility on the days and times for the remainder of the hours. The post holder will need to work occasional Saturdays and to provide cover for colleagues' holidays and sickness as required.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

- Undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice, including the provision of secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team;
- Data entry and read coding of relevant patient information and medical data into the clinical system;
- Scanning patient information into computerised records, including medical documents, hospital records and letters, as necessary;
- Retrieving paper notes as requested;
- Photocopying documents as required;
- Dealing with referrals to primary care;
- Actioning tasks set by clinicians and the practice manager;
- Reviewing and summarising medical records;
- Registering new patients;
- Covering reception, as and when required;
- Handling phone enquiries efficiently.

Experience of working in a GP practice and use of SystmOne is preferred, but full training will be provided.
