Head of Property Administration

Our Bristol Letting client provide thier clients with an award-winning service every step of the letting process; from professional and experienced valuers through to our expert Bristol Property Management team.
The Role - As the Head of Administration you'll oversee the running and practice of both the professional and student teams, providing excellent line management to the Student Letting Manager, and Senior Tenancy Progressor to support their professional development, coach them in managing their own direct reports, and ensure successful delivery of a quality administration service to both the Landlords and Tenants that aims to collaborate and create a seamless journey from let agree to move in.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
Management and Leadership
- Effectively line manage, coach and mentor the Senior Tenancy Progressor and Student Lettings Manager, being aware of resource needs within their teams, overall team engagement and any risks on the horizon
- Training new joiners in your department
- Plan and take lead on performance reviews and informal catchups for your team, ensuring accurate record keeping of these needed
- Set clear objectives for team members in line with company/team strategy and to measure performance against these
- Support your direct reports career development, by delivering training, coaching and mentoring, to ensure high skill levels both technically and behaviourally
- Participate in disciplinary and capability procedures as needed
- Hold a weekly department meeting
- Role model the initiates and processes
- Engage with and be cognisant of sector trends, changes and updates
- Enact the mission, vision and culture
- To actively share in the provision of high-quality service to Landlords and Tenants
- Assist in the dissemination and delivery of business goals
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in residential lettings
- Working in a leadership role
Qualifications - ARLA Level 3
