**Hours**: 25 hours per week to based on Events bookings but will include evenings and weekend.

**Hours**: Casual as and when hours are also available

**Rate of Pay**: up to £10.42 per hour depending on age

We are looking for event hosts who possess great customer interaction skills to join our events team based at The Metrodome. As a real people person, you'll enjoy working "hands on" as part of a team, be able to think on your feet and will thrive in a busy and exciting workplace. Your duties will also include the set up and dismantling of equipment for sporting and leisure events held at one of the region's most popular attractions.

**DETAILS OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. To be the perfect host, making customers feel as welcome as possible, at all times.

2. Assist in ensuring the highest consistent standards of Customer Quality Service is achieved on their shift.

3. To adhere to Health & Safety and Hygiene Regulations.

4. To carry out cleaning duties as required by the Facility Manager/Operations Manager/Supervisor.

5. To monitor and document quality control procedures as required by the Facility Manager/Operations Manager/Supervisor.

6. To assist in ensuring the general security within events in particular the security and stewarding

of customers in events and our car park.

7. To follow the kitchen procedures based of the principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points

(HACCP), Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and the Safer Food Better Business Handbook.

8. To assist in maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the facility and relevant check sheets are completed.

9. Communicate with guests in a friendly and appropriate manner.

10. Ensure that food and drinks are served and presented to the prescribed standard.

11. Adhere to Barnsley Premier Leisure’s uniform standards, stock control and cash handling policies, at all times.

12. Ensure that your work areas are clean, safe and maintained in accordance with company guidelines.

13. Maintain a high level of attendance and time keeping in line with their rota.

14. Adhere to all aspects of licencing law, trading standards, customs and excise regulations, food hygiene,

health and safety and company policy.

15. Carry out any reasonable instruction given by any member of the management team.

16. Maintain product knowledge and be familiar with current promotions and new products.

17. To assist in the setup and take down of events.

**And any other duties commensurate with the grade and falling within the scope of the post, as requested by Management.**
