We are looking for a store person/purchasing assistant to take accurate deliveries, identify stock, and allocate stock into the warehouse to ensure correct stock levels are maintained and recorded and accurate picking, packing, and despatch of sales orders.
**Purpose and objectives of the role**
- Ensuring stock levels are correctly reported in the inventory management system.
- Assisting with purchasing stock to fulfil customers’ orders and replenish inventory.
- Assisting with Parts Sale Quotations according to customer requests occasionally.
- Working as part of the spare parts team.
- Receiving, unloading, checking, Inspection of deliveries, labelling & allocation of stock.
- Picking, Packing & dispatching of orders (parcels & pallets/crates).
**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Use of counterbalance FLT.
- Use of pendant crane (training can be provided).
- Input data into the inventory management System.
- Assisting with the ordering of stock via inventory management system and expedition of orders.
- Stock taking / Stock level checks.
- Maintaining a good level of housekeeping in the warehouse
- Ensure HSE policies are followed.
**Person Specification**
- Full clean driving licence (preferred).
- Counterbalance forklift truck licence (preferred).
- Must be computer literate & competent in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team & individually as and when required.
- Good attention to detail & time management.
- Able to demonstrate a good level of education, particularly regarding spoken and written English language & mathematics, preferably with Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
- Previous experience in stores/engineering roles preferred.
- Previous experience of counterbalance FLT operation advantageous.
- Physically fit as some lifting involved.

RAM Lifting Technologies is part of a global group that supplies port lifting equipment to customers. The group maintains offices/manufacturing facilities in the UK, Singapore and China.
**Hours of Work**:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a 30-minute break for lunch
