What will this role achieve?

The Health, safety and Environmental Technologist will play a key role in providing site advice and support. You will Support the HSE Manager in the implementation of pladis central HS&E policies and procedures as well continuously driving forward the site standards.

What will be your key deliverables?
- Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in Health, Safety and Environment matters in order to provide the HSE Manager and the site with appropriate advice and support
- Support the HSE Manager in maintaining and facilitating continuous improvement in all aspects of the site’s HSE management systems and standards, in line with the group’s systems and policies
- Provides managers and employees with information on legislative and Corporate compliance, advises on ways of meeting statutory requirements and Corporate HS&E Policies, HSE recommendations and codes of practice
- Support in the investigation and review of accidents, incidents, complaints and environmental events, and the identification of solutions to prevent recurrence. Drives close out of issues and non-conformance
- Supports the Crisis Incident Management (CIM) process for HS&E issues by carrying out formal risk assessments
- Takes an active part in the site HSE committee.

- NEBOSH certification (Desirable)
