Sustainability and Energy Administrator

The sustainability team contains a number of sustainability professionals who have direct or indirect reporting lines to the Head of Sustainability. The team is responsible for promoting the energy and sustainability agenda across the MSE Group of hospitals providing strategic and operational support and advice under pinned by good quality social, environmental and economic metrics or data sets. These metrics are captured and reported in a number of key policy documents such as the Green Plan and the Travel Plan which aim to help identify potential utility and resources savings, environmental risks / opportunities and carbon reduction initiatives to improve the overall carbon footprint.
One such metric is the annual cost to heat, light and provide power and water to the MSE estate which at c£11m offers a ready opportunity through robust monitoring, analysis and reporting for cost reductions.
The Sustainability and Energy Administrator will provide day to day administrative support to the sustainability team and in particular be involved with energy and utility invoice checking, processing and analysis, 3rd party invoice recharges and liaising with statutory and external agencies as well as internal staff.

The post holder will be an integral part of the team, supporting the Trust to achieve its net carbon goals.
