UCLH has ambitious plans to develop its private patient services and improve processes to support patient care and increase income. This post is an exciting opportunity to join the Private Healthcare team, working alongside clinicians and patients to provide high quality care.
Reporting to the Assistant General Manager for Private Healthcare, the Referrals and Administration Team Leader will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating new patient enquiries, all whilst adhering to the highest standards of customer service. The post holder will be able to work autonomously and efficiently in order to achieve a premium service and provide a first-class level of care to all patients.
The post holder will lead a team acting as a comprehensive point of contact for the Private Healthcare Division at UCLH, ensuring all enquiries are answered professionally and within agreed KPI’s. They will act as a positive ambassador for the service, promoting and marketing the private service to patients and consultants. Data on the enquires will be collected, analysed and reported to the senior team by the post holder.
Alongside these duties, the post holder will act as administrative support to the senior management team. Duties will include minute taking for meetings and diary management.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate you have significant experience in providing excellent customer service to patients within a professional, can-do attitude. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to negotiate and liaise effectively within clinical and non-clinical teams across the trust to ensure that the patient’s journey is seamless.
