What the Apprenticeship involves

It’s a Level 3, fully funded, Customer Service Apprenticeship lasting 18 months, with a mixture of classroom, virtual and self-directed learning. We’ll equip you with lots of knowledge to deal with different customer queries, and you’ll develop those all-important interpersonal and communication skills to achieve a positive customer outcome.

You’ll develop a customer-centric approach in all of your processes, influence positive change in processes and overall customer service within the E.ON NEXT, as well as developing a deep insight into customers’ needs and wants

What your day to day will be like

You'll be at the heart of our business. Speaking directly with our customers, taking full ownership and accountability and spreading that feel-good energy. You’ll own the customer experience end to end and consistently deliver exceptional service, taking full responsibility for your customer’s journey.

You’ll be thinking on your feet and using your initiative to make your own decisions. We work fast-paced to meet our customer demand but don’t worry - we face challenges together, we support one another through every problem.

There are a couple of areas we’re recruiting in and during the recruitment process we will ask you for your preference

Customer Service- As an Energy Specialist you’ll be part of our customer operations and have the most important job - wowing our customers. You’ll own the customer experience end to end and consistently deliver exceptional service, taking full responsibility for your customer’s journey. Sometimes these can be challenging so you’ll need to be able to empathise with customers and go above and beyond to make sure their problems are resolved with fantastic solutions. You’ll be thinking on your feet and using your initiative to make your own decisions. We work fast-paced to meet our customer demand but don’t worry - we face challenges together, we support one another through every problem.Industry Performance- A fast-paced environment that works with the wider energy industry as well as our customers to ensure accurate bills are sent in a timely manner.- You’ll be well suited to this role if you love getting into the details and solving puzzles with a creative mind and not being afraid to think outside the box.

Our flexible hybrid working approach means we split our working week between home and our Nottingham hub, typically 2-3 days a week in the hub. We call them hubs instead of
_offices _- at E.ON Next we’re a family and our hubs create that much needed physical space to work together, learn from each other and collaborate on some of those great ideas.
