Nutrition & Dietetics Clinical Administrator

**Job overview**:
You must have substantial administrative and secretarial experience including audio typing; a good knowledge of software programs/IT systems such as Excel, Word and Outlook; be able to work on your initiative and within a busy team environment. Experience of NHS systems and processes is desirable.
You will at times be acting as the first point of contact for our service therefore you will require excellent communication and customer care skills. You should also be committed to team working; adaptable to the needs of the service; and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
**Main duties of the job**:
- You will need to be a kind and enthusiastic individual who enjoys a varied workload where no two days are the same.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills are essential for dealing with a varied and busy workload.
- As part of the role, you will be arranging clinics for patients and assisting with other administrative duties as required.
- You will be working with the team to order supplies/equipment and support with any queries from patients or other professionals.

- Ability to work on your own initiative, and without close supervision.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the need to maintain a strict level of confidentiality with respect to clients and staff.
