This role is aimed at an analytical, enthusiastic, and ambitious person with a can-do presence within the business that supports the Head of Finance but also liaise with Divisional and Group Controlling counterparts where required.
**Location**:
Camberley Office (50% hybrid working)
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the development and management of the forecasting process to improve forecasting accuracy that is aligned with the business strategy.
- Accurate and timely monthly information such as reporting of financial data, Financial/Operational KPI datasets and other stakeholder reporting/departmental reporting
- Managing the order forecast to align to forecast as well as maintaining monthly order backlog in line with criteria and ensure verifiable within business/external auditors.
- Inventory control function and assisting/liaising with the production department to manage and control customs procedures (including managing stock counts and reconciliation of stock to system)
- Business partner for divisional R&D reporting for Smart Mobility Solutions, including reporting and managing of the project reporting
- Responsible for the monthly bank reconciliation.
- Maintaining the accounting software and implementation of potential new software
- Strategic initiative monitoring and walkthroughs with business owners
**Requirements**:
- AAT qualified/qualified by experience accountant
- Experience of Sage 200 & SAP
- Advanced MS Excel Skills, including PowerQuery and use of the data model/DAX
- Experience of design and building PowerBI reports/dashboards
- Experience of SQL would be advantageous
