Job Summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the UK and Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert field service support, training, and maintenance to ensure the reliable operation and efficiency of our customers' equipment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with highly engineered products, collaborating with our sales team to provide equipment audits and technical support to customers. You will be responsible for commissioning, servicing, and fault finding of equipment, as well as performing tests on control equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commissioning and servicing of equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Providing technical support and training to customers to ensure they are getting the most out of our products
  • Collaborating with the sales team to provide equipment audits and technical support
  • Performing tests on control equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with experience in equipment testing, fault finding, and maintenance. Exposure to SCADA and PLCs is essential, and experience with Alfa Laval core equipment is highly desirable. Previous industry backgrounds in various sectors are welcome.
